Why Candles in Wine Bottles?
Wine bottles are more than just glass containers we discard. In their unique shape and history lies immense potential. It pains me to see how many beautiful bottles end up on beaches, in forests, in the beautiful mountains, on roads, and in large numbers at landfills. We consume more than we can process, leading to environmental pollution.
This inspired the creation of the @bez_parafina brand. Our project is my small but bold attempt to change this situation. I want to make the world cleaner and more eco-friendly. We collect wine bottles from the community and companies, give them a second life, and create beautiful glasses for our soy candles.
The process begins with thoroughly cleaning the bottles of any remaining liquid. Then, we sanitize them, remove the labels, and prepare them for further work. Each bottle is hand-cut and turned into a glass. This is done manually, and sometimes accidents happen — not all bottles survive the process and some break. But even these bottles are not discarded; they are set aside for further recycling.
Successful pieces are collected, polished, and inspected for chips and scratches. Our glasses may have minor imperfections, which add to their charm and emphasize the handcrafted nature of our brand.
The finished glasses are used not only for candles but also for drinking or storing items. The candles in these glasses look elegant and authentic. They carry the warmth of our hands, thoughts, and love for beautiful Montenegro. Our candles are not only visually appealing but also wonderfully aromatic, with fragrance notes designed to evoke memories of beloved Montenegrin places.

@bez_parafina strives to make the world a better place. We use natural soy wax that does not release harmful substances when heated, eco-friendly fragrances, and cotton wicks. All our packaging is also made from recycled materials, including paper, cardboard, and fabric strings.
